Ester alcohol

Ester alcohol — By-product of production of butyl alcohols and 2-ethylhexanol — mixture of aliphatic alcohols C4, C8 (up to 60%), containing impurities of esters, aldehydes and high boiling components.

It is intended for use as a solvent, a multifunctional oxygen-containing additive to improve the detonation resistance of motor gasoline and increase the phase stability of gasoline-alcohol fuels, as well as for other purposes.
